Richard Liu is the founder of JD.com, a Chinese online retailer giant. He started the company in 1998 when he was 24 years old with just USD 12,000 worth of goods. JD.com has since become a significant player in the e-commerce industry, with over 260 million active users and a market value of over USD 60 billion.

Richard Liu has become a well-known entrepreneur and business leader in China, and was named one of the “100 Most Influential People in the World” by Time magazine in 2016. Liu’s story is inspiring, and it just shows that anything is possible with hard work and determination.

JD.com was initially founded as a way to sell magneto-optical products but has since expanded to include everything from electronics and fashion to food and home goods. By the end of 2014, JD had launched 3,210 delivery and pickup stations in 1,862 Chinese counties and districts, and had full coverage of Chinese territory.
